Rob Dyrdek Career In Television
Dyrdek began his television career on MTV with the show Rob & Big (November 2006 to April 2008 ) with his bodyguard and best friend Christopher “Big Black” Boykin and his cousin Drama Pfaff. The reality show follows the life of Dyrdek.
After three seasons Boykin leaves the series to focus on his father’s role. In 2009, a new series was created around Rob; Pfaff is the staff of his company, entitled Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory which has been broadcast on MTV since February 2009. The show takes place in an old warehouse that Dyrdek uses for his different experiences and adventures.
The warehouse consists of a wide outdoor spot for skateboarding, Rob’s office, a garage, and a parking lot called the ” bat cave ” as well as several basketball playgrounds. Also, Dyrdek built a recording studio for his cousin. In the first episode of the show, the mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, mounted with Dyrdek on the largest ever-built skateboard.
