Sir Robert Bryson Hall II (Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States, 22 as of January 1990 ), better known as Logic is a singer, rapper, record producer, and songwriter American. Growing up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Logic expressed an interest in music since adolescence, and ventured into a musical career in early 2009 by publishing Logic: The Mixtape under the name “Psychological,” and released a mixtape entitled Young, Broke & Infamous in 2010. His fourth mixtape, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever in 2013, was published receiving high praise, and allowed Logic to secure a record deal with Def Jam Recordings. Logic Life
Logic is the son of an African American from Maryland and a fair-skinned American. Logic grew up in the problem area of West Deer Park in Gaithersburg. His childhood and youth were mainly characterized by problems and suffering. This is due to the problematic family circumstances he was struggling with. The cocaine and crack-addicted father left the family early and broke off any contact.
His alcoholic mother was utterly overwhelmed with the education because she suffered much from her addiction. His older brother was a gang member and drug dealer. Logic attended Gaithersburg High School but never graduated. From the 10th grade on, Logic regularly skipped school and was excluded from further high school attendance due to lack of achievement.
He used his spare time to devote himself to music, as this was the best way to express his feelings. His texts are partly political and treat in addition to drug use, racism, and discrimination of minorities even more social or socio-critical issues. Logic Beginnings
Logic was 13 years old when he met his mentor Solomon Taylor for the first time. At the age of 16, Taylor brought him some CDs to record his songs. He first appeared under the pseudonym Psychological and published the Mixtape Psychological: The Mixtape. Later, he changed his stage name to Logic. Logic performed as a support act for Pitbull, Ludacris, and EPMD.
Logic 2010 to today
In December 2010, Logic released its first official mixtape Young, Broke and Infamous. He also published two music videos. The mixtape caught the eye of Chris Zarou, owner of the independent record label Visionary Music Group. Zarou offered Logic to include him on his label.
