He was discovered by rappers like Pusha T and Gudda Gudda and received a record deal from Atlantic Records. The mixtape reached a placement in the R & B charts.
In the same year, his debut album Stranger Than Fiction was still on the indie label Breadwinners Association, in which, among other things, Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J had participated.
